WHO ARE CYCLE REVOLUTION?

Cycle Revolution group are the largest supplier of cycling products in East Anglia. The group is made up of 5 store locations and an online ecommerce store. Cycle Revolution Colchester, Cycle Evolution Colchester, Cycle Revolution Ipswich, Giant Store Norwich and Specialized Chelmsford. They approached Alex to run their social media advertising to increase traffic in-store and online sales.

OUR APPROACH

After multiple meetings with the Managing Director and Marketing Manager, our focus was to use Facebook and Instagram Advertising campaigns to promote each store with a mix of video, interactive carousels and single image campaigns.

Our primary goals were to increase the brand awareness of each store within a 20 radius. Every campaign was backed up with direct response call to actions to drive people to the website.

Alex then used dynamic retargeting campaigns to bring back people to the website who either viewed a product and didn’t purchase or who added a product to the shopping cart and didn’t complete their purchase.

The website had no customer support chat in place, which is key for higher-ticket e-commerce products.  Alex immediately implemented the web chat, resulting in a member of staff having to answer the chat full-time due to the amount of enquiries that were coming through. This significantly increased the conversion rate on the website due to customers being about to answer questions in real time. 

The uptake of the campaigns caused a significant increase in sales in-store and online.

The advertising budget was £14,158 and produced £236,098 in sales.
